Butterfly Garden
One activity that my kids ask to repeat year after year is to set up a butterfly garden. There are so many connections between the butterfly life cycle and the death and resurrection of Jesus that it makes a great Easter tradition. I try my best to time it so that the butterflies emerge on or near Easter, which means that I order our kit during the first week of Lent (I just ordered my kit today).
