Easy DIY Fall Wreath
Living in California, I don’t get to experience much of the change of seasons (no complaints here about our continual weather!), but I do like to bring a little “fall” into my home. I have been looking for a wreath for my door, but the only pre-made wreaths that I could find were either too small for my door or a bit too busy for my taste. I wanted just a simple wreath made of fall leaves, so I decided to make one myself.
I purchased the following supplies from Micheals:
24″ Grapevine Wreath
Fall Leaf Garland
6″ Width Brown and Gold Mesh Ribbon
I simply cut the leaves off the garland and used a hot glue gun to attach them to the wreath. I followed this How to Make a Bow Video for my mesh ribbon. I originally thought that I would use a tan ribbon (the one shown in the picture below), but I later decided that a darker brown and gold ribbon looked better.
The wreath actually turned out just as I envisioned — a rare event for me and my creative endeavors!
