Purple Ribbon Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup boysenberry preserves
Powdered sugar
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy.
2. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.
3. Mix together dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt), then slowly add to cream cheese mixture while beating with a mixer.
4. Pour and spread into greased 13×9″ pan.
5. Spoon preserves in 8-12 dollops on top of the batter and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
7. Sift powdered sugar on top and cut into squares.
