50 Days of Easter
Did you know that on the traditional church calendar there are 50 Days of Easter (from Easter to Pentecost)? Since the 40 days before Easter (Lent) were designed as a time of reflection and sacrifice, the days after Easter were intended to be the time of celebration. The good news is that if you didn’t manage to implement all of your ideas and traditions before Easter, you still have 50 days to do them!
If you are interested in understanding the traditional church calendar, there is a great kid version at Sunday School Kids with a printable church calendar wheel.
Below are some of the “best of the web” in ideas for the 50 Days of Easter. I hope that they inspire your creativity.
