Patriotic Wand Craft

My kids have a blast waving these wands around — they work well for both parties and parades!

Supplies:

Red, White and Blue Construction Paper

Star Cookie Cutters of Various Sizes

Red, White and/or Blue Ribbon

12″ Wooden Dowel (Stick)

Directions:

1. Trace around the cookie cutters to form 2 red, 2 white and 2 blue stars. Cut them out.

2. Glue the medium size star on top the largest star, and then the smallest star on top the medium star. Repeat to create 2 triple star designs.

3. Glue ribbon to the dowel and then glue the dowel to the back of one of the triple star designs. Glue the remaining triple star on the opposite side.
