Turkey Shaped Crescent Rolls
Here is a creative way to cook up crescent rolls for Thanksgiving — shape them like turkeys!
Ingredients:
Refrigerated crescent dough (or your favorite recipe)
Directions:
1. Place each crescent triangle in a muffin tin. Rest the “head” (the narrowest point of the triangle) over one edge and the “tail” over the other edge.
2. Use a toothpick to poke 2 eyes, and use scissors to clip little feathers on the tail.
3. Bake according to package directions.
4. For a little added fun, you can put various jelly flavors in ziploc bags and snip off the corners. Let the kids “pipe” the jelly onto the crescents to decorate the tails.
